Siblinghood of the World Bloggers Award.

Hi guys! As you know, I have been in a horrible reading slump lately and so, I haven’t been able to read any book to review for this week. So, I am going to do this instead. I have been nominated for this a while ago by Calliope the Book Goddess. A huge thank you to her for nominating me. If you haven’t checked out her blog yet, please do because it’s amazing! So, let’s get started!

sisterhood-of-the-world-bloggersThe Rules:

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link to their blog in your post.
  2. Answer the questions that the blogger who nominated you has provided.
  3. Nominate ten other bloggers (or up to 10).
  4. Create ten questions for your nominees and notify them of their nominations.

Calliope’s questions:

  • Pick a book for every letter of your first name.

S- Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn.

A- All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.

N- Night Film by Merissa Pessl.

C- Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins.

H- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (or any one of them, really!) by J. K. Rowling.

I- I Was Here by Gayle Forman.

T- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

A- An Abundance of Katherines by John Green.

  • What’s the tenth book on your shelf?

It’s The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It’s been on my TBR for a long time and I hope I can read it soon!

  • What are you currently reading?

I am currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to get over my reading slump. I hope I can get to reading new books from my TBR pile soon!

  • Would you rather get a book signed, or get a free book?

I would rather get my book signed. I have so many books that I want to get signed. Because I live in India, I would literally do anything to get my hands on a signed copy of a book from my favourite authors. I hope that one day I’m going to get a signed copy of a John Green book. Fingers crossed, guys!

  • Who is your fictional crush at the moment?

At this moment, my fictional crush is Augustus Waters from The Fault In Our Stars by John Green because I re-read it recently. 😛

  • What is the biggest book on your shelf (Page number wise)?

The biggest book on my shelf right now is The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. As it is a complete collection of all Sherlock Holmes stories, you can imagine that it’s pretty big! 🙂

  • What is the smallest book on your shelf (Page number wise)?

The smallest book on my shelf is actually a play called Goa by Asif Currimbhoy. I had this book as a part of my course last semester and I think its around 100 pages. So, it’s pretty small.

  • Do you have a ship that you called would sail from the moment you met the characters?

Oh that would be Cath and Levi from Fangirl. They are my O.T.P. and I am sure that I would love them forever. They are such adorable characters that I couldn’t help but fall in love with them. ❤

  • What is a series that you just couldn’t finish?

That would be the House of Night series by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast. The story just didn’t interest me enough and I couldn’t bother reading the 12 plus number of books that they put out. I was utterly disinterested. If you are a fan of this series, I am really sorry but I couldn’t get into this series.

  • What is your name backwards?

My name is Sanchita. So, backwards it would be A-T-I-H-C-N-A-S. Please tell me if you can pronounce that. 😛

  1. Choose your favourite emoji and then select a book that can be described perfectly by that emoji.
  2. Choose a book from your shelf that you think has the most beautiful cover.
  3. What is the name of the book that you read recently and absolutely loved?
  4. What is the weirdest character you’ve read about and loved?
  5. Choose a book that you think is very underrated.
  6. Choose a book that you think is very overrated.
  7. A lot of our favourite characters get killed at the hands of the authors. If you can save one such character from death, who would it be?
  8. If you can take the place of any protagonist from any book, who would it be?
  9. We all have that one special book that got us into reading. What’s yours?
  10. What are your TOP 5 favourite books right now?

    1. Aria @ Aria Stuck in Wonderland.
    2. Mishibear @ Mishi-Reads.
    3. Anette @ Simply Biblio.
    4. My Tiny Obsessions.
    5. Tea and a Good Read.

    7. Giselle @ Hardwork Boulevard.
    8. Partner in Books.
    9. Bianca @ The Ultimate Fangirl.
    10. Erika @ Erika in Bookventureland.

I hope you have a lot of fun answering my questions because I had a lot of fun doing this. If you have already received this award, please link it in the comments. For those of you who haven’t done it yet, I do hope you decide to receive this award. When you do, please link that in the comments. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Until next time then.
